Description: |
I am looking for a roommate to rent the spare bedroom in my condo. This is a nice community near Crossroads/Buck Jones Road in west Raleigh, not too far from NC State or Cary. There is a very nice pool right behind my building and tennis courts just a bit further down the road. It's quiet and has a lot of trees which makes it a step above most of the other complexes around here. The condo is fully furnished except for the room I'm renting, and has a really large kitchen and living room making it feel very spacious.
The bedroom is a good size, has nice windows, and has a bathroom right outside of the door. I have a different bathroom, so you’d have that one to yourself unless you had company over.
I don't watch TV, so I don't have cable here, but I love movies and I have a great entertainment system for it (a perk of living here).
This is a very good location. The neighborhood, as mentioned, has a lot of trees and is quiet, but it’s very close to Crossroads, Cary Town Center, and several other areas with entertainment, dining, etc. It’s a short drive to NC State, but far enough away to avoid the traffic, and it’s location off of exit 291 means you can be on 440, 64/Hwy 1, or Wade Avenue in just a couple of minutes, so you can access North Raleigh, Garner, Cary, or Morrisville in a short drive.
I'm 28, male, and I go to NC State and also have an entry level professional job. I’m politically progressive, clean but not ridiculous, active, runner, non cigarette smoker (I don't mind smoking on the porch, and occasionally I'll smoke a cigar out there). I'm a fairly creative and intellectual person. I’d like to find someone who matched general personality.
I keep a fairly regular schedule (in bed by about 11, up about 7) so I definitely want a roommate who keeps a somewhat similar schedule.
